Specialized meeting of Kerman disaster management with the presence of local mayors

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Bam earthquake tragedy, specialized meeting was hold by the presence of Kerman disaster management and local mayors at the Center of Disaster Management Studies and Training of Kerman municipality
The head of this Center announced that the aim of this meeting is exchanging of views and training the mayors of locals, and emphasized: because of high earthquake in Kerman, consideration of citizens in the context of crises seems more necessary.
Referring to the experiences of the Bam earthquake in October 2003, Akbar Alavi added: "The structure and status of the active faults in Kerman city and the mechanism of faults in recent earthquakes should be investigated."
He said that the training of some other mayors in locals is necessary, eight of the mayors who have not been trained so far, will attend in the training program next week
Alavi announced that crisis management meetings will be hold in disaster management Crisis Center every Monday regularly
